Course Format: Laboratory.

Prerequisites:  P: Biol M315. P or concurrent Biol M460.

Course Description: Isolation and study of members of the major groups
of nonpathogenic bacteria.  Selected physiological experiments.

W333 - INTENSIVE WRITING: Credit for the COAS Intensive Writing
requirement is available for students who are enrolled in both M460 and
M465 simultaneously; these courses serve as hosts for a section of
W333.  Students who wish W333 credit with M460 and M465 as host courses
must inform the instructor during the first week of classes.

Weekly Assignments: Weekly experiments; written reports at end of
semester.
