Prerequisite: M200 or equivalent. Intermediate study of contemporary
Italian conversation, grammar, reading, writing continued. Increased
attention to the reading of literary texts.

All students with previous course work in Italian must take a
placement examination. Contact the testing bureau, 855-1595, for
testing dates. Students must avoid final exam conflicts. See exam
