COURSE PREREQUISITES:
Admission into the Athletic Training Major or permission of
instructor.

This course is designed to introduce the fundamental elements of
strapping and bandaging techniques utilizing the simple materials.
Techniques will address all anatomical areas that may benefit from the
use of external support.  This course also incorporates the elements
of soft tissue
evaluation.  Palpation skills, surface anatomy, specialized tests
pertinent to each anatomical site are addressed.  Students are
expected to develop basic proficiencies in all of these areas through
classroom and laboratory experiences.
