This course has been designed with the needs of (mainly) the
self-coached endurance athlete in mind.  Nearly all of the information
presented will be of an applied nature, meaning the student should be
able to take principles and ideas presented in the class and apply
them to their own (or other's) training.  The course is not intended
to be a rigorous, in- depth, or overly scientific analysis of
exercise physiology.  Students are highly encouraged to participate in
class discussions and indicate specific areas of interest.
