Open to declared Psychology majors only.

This is the first course in the introductory sequence for majors. The
course addresses to psychology as an experimental science which
attempts to understand behavior in the context of physiological
systems. Topics covered include research methods, function and
structure of the nervous system, sensation and perception, learning
and memory, and the biological bases of motivation and emotion.
Evaluations are based on short writing assignments, in-class
activities, attendence, and regular examinations.
