demonstration specimens per week.

Prerequisites:  Biol L111 and L112.

Course Descriptions: Morphology, life histories, classification,
genetics, physiology, development, ecology, medical and economic
importance of fungi.

Required Text: Kendrick: The Fifth Kingdom, third edition; a CD-ROM
might also be required, but a decision has not been made as of June
27, 2002.

Exams/Papers: Two midterms, one final exam -- no papers.
