The focus of this course will be the examination of so called deviant
behavior in our society. Major areas of study will include:
addiction, family violence, prostitution, rape, mental illness, and
homicide. From a psychosocial perspective we will examine the
etiology of these behaviors, society's labeling process, and how the
criminal justice system reacts to these behaviors.
