This course surveys the major issues in French syntax from a
generative perspective building on concepts developed in L543. The
approach combines problem solving and readings and discussions of
articles in French syntax. Course requirements include weekly problem
sets, exercises in writing in linguistics, and a semester-long
analysis project.  Prerequisite: L 543 (or equivalent) and reading
knowledge of French.
