introduction to all the rest of economics. You will study markets and
the action that takes place inside them--buying and selling. You will
get answers to questions like the following: Why is the price of
gasoline below $1.00 a gallon? What is a price bubble? Why does a
company like General Electric make over $8 billion a year in profit?
What is the market game played between Coke and Pepsi? Your grade will
depend on your performance in the following categories:
