NOTE:  THIS COURSE ONLY MEETS ON SEPT.6 AND SEPT 13th; individual
meeting with instructor take place throughout the semester.

Description of Course Content:  The PRACTICUM is designed to
facilitate through 25 contact hours, the acquisition of practical
knowledge and experiences in recreational sport management.  This will
augment previous experiences with activities relevant to professional
involvement in recreational sport management.  The agency where the
student elects to work the 25 hours must be approved by the Department
of Recreation and Park Administration.

Required Book List:  NO REQUIRED TEXT

Summary of Assignments:  Students work 25 hours for an agency, and
present a portfolio at the conclusion of the semester to include
journal entries related to the experience, and samples of work
performed during the practicum.
