Description of Course Content:  An exploration, examination, and
culminating discussion of contemporary problems, techniques, and
issues relating specifically to those competencies required for a
career in the fields of recreation and sport management.

Required Book List:  NO REQUIRED TEXT; READINGS OCCASIONALLY PROVIDED.

Summary of Assignments:  Student are assigned short journal
assignments, and other assignments which help students to gain insight
into aspects such as networking, job search, interviewing, first job
realities, and professionalism.  Students are required to conduct a
research presentation on a topic of their choice (approved by the
instrutor).
