(3 cr.)  AHTI, CSA  Critical survey of the development of the major
periods of Indian civilization(s), including Hindu, Buddhist, Jain,
Islamic, and Sikh historical periods as well as the emergence of India
as a modern nation state, together with an introduction to the art,
music, literature, drama, philosophy, religion, and social reality of
the subcontinent.
