This course provides an interface between ecology, economics, and
policy in the context of non-Western cultures and environments.
Students will explore resource use in unfamiliar physical and
cultural settings. This examination will highlight common processes
that in turn will help the student to understand better the
cultural/social underpinnings necessary for analysis.
