P: SPEA V517. This course evaluates a broad range of contemporary
resource policies, cases, and controversies, using bioeconomic
resource management models as an intuitive aid, wherever possible.
Topics include fishery management, forestry policy, tropical
deforestation, water management policy, nature
preservation/endangered species, sustainable development, and
national income accounting.
