This seminar will focus on the various sides to most environmental
questions and involve students taking and defending different
positions on these. Questions will focus on topics such as: Should
we begin to move toward reducing global warming now? Which
endangered species should be protected? Is air pollution still a
significant environmental problem? Should taxation be used as a tool
for limiting externalities?
