The survey of the History of Ceramics covers the development of
ceramic art from the Neolithic period to the Present.  Emphasis is
given to the impact of cosmology, technology, social and political
structure, cross cultural exchange, geology and geography on the
aesthetics and manufacture of various ceramic styles.
