LOCATION:
Lake Lemon, Indiana

DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to introduce students to the basics of fly
fishing.  Students are introduced to the equipment, techniques and
responsibility involved with fly fishing.  The class combines both
hands on learning and classroom instruction.  The course is split up
into learning modules.  Classroom instruction will be followed by on
water practice sessions. About 1/2 of your class time will be outside
practicing your skills.

BOOKS:
Basic Essentials of Fly Fishing, Rutter.

ASSIGNMENTS: Readings, short presentation, and a written exam

EVALUATION: 30% skill demonstration, 30% written examination, 20%
three page paper, 20% expedition behavior

ADDITIONAL FEE:	
The additional fee for the class is $200, which includes
transportation, food, and group gear. You will sign a bursar slip the
first day of class to pay this fee.
