R100 mountain biking intends to introduce students to this popular
leisure activity. Course content is based upon the International
Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) rules of the trail and William
Nealy?s Mountain Bike book. We will be very environmentally
aware?mountain biking must set a good example for all trail use. You
must participate through inquisitive learning as well as demonstrating
your newly learned skills.

Readings, short presentation, and a written exam
EVALUATION: 30% skill demonstration, 30% written examination, 20%
three page paper,20% expedition behavior
The additional fee for the class is $200, which includes
transportation, food, and group gear. You will sign a bursar slip the
first day of class to pay this fee.
