This course will examine the current research on the nature of
individual differences in human behavior and describe the major
theories that have been developed to account for these differences.
Major topics will include: How do individuals differ from one another
in terms of personality? What are the causes of these differences?
What are the social and behavioral consequences of these
differences? What is the relative contribution of nature and nurture
to personality? Are personality traits stable or do they change over
time?
