This seminar will examine how we perceive people ­ ourselves, other
individuals, and groups of people, and the processes that play a role
in our making judgments of those people.  Included in those
discussions will be such topics as self-concept, self-esteem,
self-presentation strategies, attributions we make with respect to our
own and otheršs behavior, errors and biases in those attributions,
social categorization of people, stereotyping, and how our affective
states influence our social perceptions and judgments.
