Afro-American Studies | Survey of the Culture of Black Americans
A150 | 1045 | A.B. Assensoh

To be treated as an Afro-American history course, the A150 course
will introduce students to several dimensions of the history of
African-Americans, with an emphasis on their African roots. To be
taught interactively, students will have an opportunity to
participate actively, with partial student-professor discussions and
occasional lectures. Students will be provided ample notes in
various forms.

There will be a short mid-term exam and a final paper (or a final
exam, depending on what stuents and the professor agree upon) at the
end of the semester.
