learning group required each week (times are to be arranged). Also
requires evening exams at 7-9P on Wed, Sept 22, Oct 20, and Nov 17.
Prerequisites: P: Biol L112. Strongly recommended C105.
Course Description: Structure and function of DNA, RNA, and protein.
The genetic code, transcription, translation, and DNA replication.
Introduces molecular biology technology. Includes mechanisms and
regulation of gene expression as well as mechanisms of mutation,
repair, and recombination of DNA.
