An advanced reading course in Japanese. Emphasis will be on reading
and writing skills. A wide variety of materials will be used
including novels, short stories, newspaper and magazine articles, as
well as scholarly materials in history and culture. Lighter
materials like detective stories and science fiction will be skimmed
and summarized in Japanese, weekly.
