Description of Course Content:  This course focuses in advanced
skills such as self-rescue, rappelling, and emergency takedowns.
Participants will learn simple and effective techniques to perform
safe rescues in high ropes courses.

Class will meet during the weekend of Oct 8-9 from Fri 8:30am-9pm -
Sat 8am to 3pm. You can find directions to Bradford Woods at
www.bradwoods.org. Students will stay overnight at Bradford Woods
Outdoor Center. The class is based on the concept of action learning;
students will be involved in activities and should expect to be
outdoors most of the time.  Please dress appropriately.  Challenge by
choice will be practice.  There is a $75 fee to cover text cost,
lodging and food.

Summary of Assignments:
Pre class assignment-
Students should read required text prior to come to the weekend. Text
will be available on  Oncourse a month prior to class commences.

Practical Exam-
At the end f the weekend students will have to successfully perform
an emergency rescue.  Rescue performance will be documented using a
check off list outlining the rescue process.
