Class Time:  September 20 & 27, 6:00-10:00pm in the Redbud Tree
Suite, IMU (Attendance at class is required at attend travel dates)

Travel Dates:  October 2-3, 2004
Location: Lake Lemon, IN

Description:  This course is designed to introuduce you to basic of
fly fishing.  Students are introduced to the equipment, techniques
and responsibility involved with fly fishing.  The class combines
both hands on learning and classroom instruction.  The course is
split up into learning modules.  Classroom instruction will be
followed by on water practice sessions.  About 1/2 of you class time
will be outside practicing your skills.  R110 Fly Fishing is a highly
experiential course where you must engage in classroom and field
experiences, genuine reflection, and new skill demonstration.  You
will be evaluated on these dimensions, as well as your expedition
behavior.

Books:  Basic Essentials of Fly Fishing, by Rutter

Assignments:  Readings and three page paper

Evaluation:  30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior, 30%
written examination, 20% three page paper.

Additional Fee:  The additional fee for the class is $150, which
includes transportation, food, and group gear.
