Location: Shawnee National Forest, IL
Description: This course is designed to introduce you to basic rock
climbing skills. R110 Intermediate Rock Climbing is a highly
experiential course where you must engage in camp setting and
maintenace, genuine reflection, and new skill demonstration. You
will be evaluated on these dimensions, as well as your expedition
behavior.
Books: Climbing Anchors, Long
Assignments: Readings and three page paper
Evaluation: 30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior, 30%
written examination, 20% three page paper
Additional Fee: The additional fee for the class is $150, which
includes transporation, food, and group gear.
