Location: Area Pit Caves in Indiana
Description: This course is designed to introduce you to basic
skills of vertical caving. R100 Vertical Caving is a highly
experinetial course where you must engage in campsite setting and
maintenace, genuine reflection, and new skill demonstration. You
will be evaluated on these dimensions, as well as your expedition
behavior.
Books: Course Packet to be distributed the first day of class
Assignments: Readings and three page paper
Evaluation: 30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior, 30%
written examination, 20% three page paper
Additional Fee: The additional fee for the class is $150, which
includes transporation, food, and group gear.
