Wetlands: Biology and Regulation (3 cr.) P: SPEA E272 or H316; any
biology course. This course trains students to evaluate wetlands to
comply with federal, state, and local regulations. It examines the
principles that inspired these regulations and assesses the
consequences. It seeks to relate the breadth and strength of
available scientific knowledge to public policy goals.
