Limnology (4 cr.) P: College chemistry and biology or permission of
instructor. Limnology is the ecology of inland lakes and streams,
combining the principles of biology, chemistry, geology, and physics
to understand how they function. The effects of human perturbation on
aquatic systems will be highlighted in both lectures and laboratory
work to aid student understanding of the concepts involved.
