contexts, and to develop a critical approach to literary texts.
Dante, Petrarch, Boccaccio, Machiavelli and Guicciardini will be
among the authors considered. Students will write short essays
during the term, participate in an oral presentation, and take a
final exam. The class will be conducted in Italian. A reader will be
available.
