This course is designed to be both lecture and experience based with
students meeting twice a week.  Class meetings will be devoted to
learning leadership, leisure time management, and life skills
enhancement essential to studentsí campus and later life success.
Paralleling experience in class, students will become actively engaged
in extracurricular work, student organizations, athletic teams, clubs,
or other campus groups.  Greater understanding and appreciation for
these types of opportunities as well as actively pursuing involvement
will provide the context for practical leadership, leisure, and life
skills development.

Course Readings

There will be no formal textbook for the course.  Handouts will be
provided by the Course Instructor and class notes will be posted on
the On Course site provided for the course.
