CLASS TIME:  October 5 & 12, 6:00-10:00 PM in the IMU Redbud Tree
(Attendance at class is required to attend travel dates)

TRAVEL DATES:  October 15 & 22, 2005

LOCATION:  Southern Indiana

DESCRIPTION:  R110 mountain biking intends to introduce students to
this popular leisure activity.  Course content is based upon the
International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) rules of the trail
and William Nealy’s Mountain Bike book.  We will be very
environmentally aware…mountain biking must set a good example for
all trail use.  You must participate through inquisitive learning as
well as demonstrating your newly learned skills.

BOOKS:	Mountain Bike: A Manual of Beginning to Advanced Technique,
Nealy.

ASSIGNMENTS:  Readings and three page paper.

EVALUATION:  30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior, 30%
written examination, 20% three page paper
	
ADDITIONAL FEE:	The additional fee for the class is $160, which
includes transportation, food, and group gear.
