LOCATION: Red River Gorge, KY
DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to introduce students to
intermediate rock climbing skills. R110 Intermediate Rock Climbing
is a highly experiential course where participants must engage in
site setting, rock climbing safety, anchor building and decision
making.
BOOKS: Climbing Anchors, Long.
ASSIGNMENTS: Readings and reflective paper.
EVALUATION: 30% skill demonstration, 20% expedition behavior, 30%
written examination, 20% three page paper.
ADDITIONAL FEE: The additional fee for the class is $160, which
includes transportation, food, climbing gear and group camping
equipment.
