Description of course content:	Learning and applying the recreation
program process for leisure delivery systems. Introduction to program
activity plans, program design, marketing, delivery and evaluation.

Experiences (4th Edition) by J. Robert Rossman and Barbara E.
Schlatter, Sagamore Publishing, 2003

Summary of Assignments: Group Projects, program observation/critique,
program planning, implementation and evaluation. Students groups will
conduct a program for the community while collaborating with a local
leisure services agency. The purpose of this program is to provide
students with an opportunity to gain experience in program
development, as well as to connect course material to the program
development process.
