Class Number 28010; 3 cr. This course will focus on the strategies
being used by labor and a variety of communities to build a more
democratic society.  In addition, we will take a critical look at
media-presented images of trade unionists and community activists in
which these groups are viewed as “special interest” groups whose
purported mission is to promote the development of a society rooted
