SPEA-E 562 Solid and Hazardous Waste Management (3 cr.)

The purpose is to provide students with a technical foundation in
areas of solid and hazardous waste management which can be applied to
the examination of policy options. Topics include characterization of
the waste stream, regulations, health and environmental risks,
liability issues, management technologies, and treatment and disposal
options.
