This course focuses on the experiences of Latinas in the United
States. The course seeks to examine how Latinas’ experiences are
shaped by the intersections of race, gender, and class. The course
will begin with analytical frameworks that center the perspectives
of Latinas. Thereafter, we will focus on how the institutions of
health, education, migration, and work perpetuate inequalities.
