This course will introduce you to the language, grammar, and
vocabulary of the Hebrew Bible (or Old Testament). No prior
knowledge of Hebrew is assumed! The course begins with the Hebrew
alphabet and systematically works through a standard textbook. The
exercises in the textbook are based on selections from the Hebrew
Bible, so that very soon students will start to get comfortable with
biblical style vocabulary.
