Philosophy | Introduction to Philosophy
P100 | 19886 | Ebbs
What should we believe about the world around us? How we should
live? Can we ever know the answers to these questions? If not, why
not? If so, how can we attain this knowledge? The goal of this
course is to survey and evaluate several important philosophical
answers to these questions. Readings are selected from works by
Plato, Descartes, Locke, Hume, Kant, and from a textbook with
exercises that apply philosophical concepts and theories to everyday
life.
