This is a laboratory methods class focusing on historic artifacts.
The class will involve the processing of artifacts from an 18th
century site. Students will learn how to identify and describe
artifact types and interpret artifact assemblages. This class meets
during the second eight weeks and involves five hours of coursework
per week. Lectures will be held Mondays from 2-3 pm. The remaining
four hours a week are reserved for open laboratory work and can be
scheduled independently with the instructor.
