Course description: Lectures cover anatomy, physiology, behavior,
ecology and evolution of insects. Additional topics include bio
control and forensic entomology. Laboratory sections emphasize
insect diversity, identification, and taxonomy.
Exams/papers: 3 mid term exams; 1 comprehensive final exam; Main lab
assignment is the compilation of a comprehensive insect collection.
Must attend first lab to maintain spot in course. Unclaimed spots
will be given to wait-listed students.
