LSTU-L 230 Labor and the Economy Class Number 10896; 3 cr. This
course analyzes the political economy of labor and the role of
organized labor within it.  The class analyzes the effect on
workers, unions, and collective bargaining of unemployment,
investment policy, and changes in technology and corporate
structure.  As well, we will look at the labor movement’s political
