This course serves to introduce pre-nursing students to the
profession of nursing. It is meant to offer insight into career path
availability, roles and responsibilities of nurses in both the acute
and non-acute areas, economics of nursing, general nursing issues,
patient safety issues and ethical dilemmas that a nurse may face in
their career.
