Sociology is the study of societies and how people interact with one
another in those societies.  Sociology can be used as a tool to
study just about everything in our social world. In this class, we
will use readings, film, music and other sources to discuss and
critically analyze such topics as race, class, gender, politics,
health, poverty, technology, and globalization.
