T367 Theory and Practice of Game Design (MW 1:00-2:15)

Description of the course: From the earliest games played with
sticks and pebbles through today’s virtual worlds and ARGs, students
will be exposed to game design techniques, and will create
prototypes for games of their own.

Course format: Class time will be divided between lecture, workshop
and review.

Grading procedure: Grading is rigorous, based on class
participation, short assignments and the creation of several games
of varying complexity.
