BUS Z 355 Women in Business (3 cr.) The class examines gender issues in national
and international business contexts.  Topics include the status and measures of
corporate gender diversity; causes, effects, and solutions for the Glass Ceiling;
unique elements of women’s and men’s leadership and decision-making styles; mentoring
and training programs; work/family balance, and visible/invisible diversity as it
relates to gender.  Case studies will complement readings from a variety of theoretical
and practical sources.  (no pre-req)
