course covers both Calculus I (M211) and Calculus II (M212) in a
semester. It is intended for students who have a complete year of
calculus study in high school. Students completing M213 with a grade
of “A” or “B” will also receive four hours of credit (5) for
mathematics M211.

Topics in M213 will be presented with more rigor than in M211.
Examinations will include exercises asking students to demonstrate
mastery via written proofs of elementary theorems.
