P: Knowledge of undergraduate level probability, linear algebra or
calculus. Students will learn mathematical tools necessary to
understand modern cyber security. The course will cover introductory
mathematical material from a number of disparate fields including
probability theory, computational theory, complexity theory, group
theory, and information theory.
