E 316 Insects and the Environment (3 cr.)

This course introduces insects in the context of their ecological
importance, their effects on humans, and the environmental/economic
impacts of pest management. The course is taught in five modules:
Entomology, Insect Pests, Pest Management and Risk Reduction, Policies
of Pest Management and Bio-diversity, and Pollution Prevention and
Benefit-Cost Analysis.
