This course is designed to refine students' computer programming
skills and acquaint them with applications of programming in
cognitive science. Programming assignments will be in Netlogo,
Matlab and possibly Java. Programming topics will include
aspects of cognitive science such as multi-agent behavior and
self-organizing systems. If time allows, some basic computational
approaches to cognitive modeling and machine learning will be
explored. The use of programs in running experiments will also
be covered.
